How can we fall in love with some stranger from the net, whom we don't know and have not met before? How can we trust a stranger from the net so much and even fail to make judgement?

I think that alot of people long for attention and affection. And when someone gives you that attention and tell you all the things you want to hear, sometimes it will cloud your judgement and you become unable to make a responsible sound decision. Almost like that first child-hood crush; you just feel and know at that moment that its right because you get all the attention, all the affection, and he or she says all the right words; but then later you realize that it wasn't so perfect. I think internet dating is very dangerous and should be done at all precautions, but should dating someone you have only known a few days and only met once.

maby its because people have been hurt and are looking for some one any one to confort them. I think on the internet we can be ourselves. i mean if people make fun of you you can just block them and never talk to them again in life you have to deal with it. I think its a safer way to chat and we just let our guard down and easily fall in love with some one ever the net. We some times miss whats right in front of our faces. Like the good things in life. The net is a good p lace to get advice on. But not a source of life. You could also meet the best of friends and the worst of friends the internet has infinite possibilities.

Good question Supergirl ! Most people are bored out of their minds that sit for hours in a chat room, or whatever it takes to make one happy. The people with real good social lives, will not waste or spend a lot of time in front of the computer in any case.
I guess if a person with a good personality comes on line that you like to chat to over a period of time, love is not really impossible !

i know it sounds weird and ridiculous but somehow when u got that special chemistry when both desire to see the other on the net, the strange thing happen. it is just a platform for 2 to see each other and its a good one if we do it with integrity. as u get more opportunity to talk to each other that is how the desire grow.
for me that is how i meet my 2ex-gf and the latter convinced me through her personality that there is God and that is how i became a Catholic now. though i must admit that this is not a good way to get to know opposite sex as we never know who we are meeting.

because over the net, with out seeing some one there is no insecurities and you can just talk freely,and be honest with out worry, it may take longer, but for guys if we don't see the female we're not thinking with our d**k and we can be our selves and actually use the voice of reason, people need connections on every level, and over the net you can meet the need of a personal and emotional connection and its pure with the right intentions

they tell them exactly what they wanna hear and they love it and they love them for saying it when almost everyhting they said is a lie. but sometimes you can meet a faithful one if u so happen to luck up on one.

its so much easier to trust someone u dont see and...talking is just a great way to get to know other person. so thats how a person can think theyre in love...and its more then just lust..

it's because of their great personality.you'll find comfort in them without realising it.it is also easier to talk about your problems with them since they can't see you and they don't know who you are
