It depends on you really
You can get the birth control shot I believe before you leave the hospital
You can get on birth control pills at your 6 week check up.
I nursed and did not use any for six months

They usually will prescribe you birth control when you go back for your 6 weeks checkup. But you will get pregnant easily if you have sex before so be careful and cover up!

If you want to do the pill or IUD then at your six week check up. If you do that horrible shot then the day after you give birth.

i think right after birth sounds wrong. after few months. breastfeeding also helps in birth control. this much i know for sure
