Dameon is in a good side or in a bad side?

I'm a bit confused when Dameon join my party.....Isn't from the begging he had his mother soo much and wanted to had a revenge???????

dameon is a druid, so it's expected of him to help - if he didn't, they would all suspect he was working with aihriman (i don't think i spelled that right). as you go along in the game you'll learn more about him. but he does work for the bad guys. it's kind of like the phrase "keep your friends close and your enemies closer"
