My Fiance's ex-husband is harassing us and threatening us and will not leave us alone. He is also an ex-con and convicted felon and we are afraid of him. Law enforcement and lawyers seem useless, and we can't afford them anyway. I am willing to entertain any ideas whether they are unconventional or radical. He needs to be beaten with a baseball bat, but I'm not going to jail for his dumb ***. I wish I knew a Rambo hehehe.

Most likely, you cannot reason with this guy.
First thing to do, if he is on probation or parole, is to talk with his probation or parole officer. If he was in jail for something violent, threatening you is probably going to be a violation of his parole or probation - they will send him back to jail in a heart beat, without a trial or new charges.
If he is not on probation or parole:
Step up. Be a man. # 1. Don't let her talk to him anymore (she is probably manipulating you both, anyway. Nothing personal, that is just the nature of women that marry losers) - #2. tell him that if he ever calls her again, you are "gonna take care of business".
#3. If he ever calls again, "take care of business".
Of course, get a restraining order, and document his tendancies first. That way, if you do end up having to kill him - there will be a supposition that it was self defense.
Cops don't do much when low life ex cons get killed in self defense when they are attacking their ex-wives fiancee's... if you know what I mean.
Don't be such a loser. "you wish you knew a Rambo hehehe ???" Be a man. Step up. You don't need anyone taking care of your problems.

What did he go to jail for? If it was something violent (and even if it wasn't really) then I would keep on trying with law enforcement. Make sure you are keeping a "diary" of sorts of when he contacts you, location, threats made, etc. Unfortunately it seems much harder to get a restraining order on someone than it should be. Best of luck...

Hey buddy, don't be a wimp, if you feel strongly enough about the chick, go out there, take a lead pipe along if necessary, and beat the living **** out of him. If you don't, she will think you are a pissy in any case. One has to face up to arseholes like that, and believe me, you will feel that you have achieved something . One has to stand up to bullies like that. I wish i could come and give you a hand, i enjoy playing with punks like that

Restraining order. If he doesn't oblige then his butt will go to jail. Which he probably won't care but at least he will be away from you two.
