I have a large paved area, with lots and lots of weeds on, does anyone know of a very very strong weedkiller/pathclearer, and where can i get it from in uk. The usual superstore brands are not working.

use a high powered waterblaster to get rid of them 1st and use bleach afterwards by spraying little around as it will kill anything almost in the way of plants, weeds etc,and you can get it at the supermarket, trust me I've used it for revenge lol,if that dosn't work let me know and I could give you some more options but are a lot more expencive. Straight Bleach should work though if you don't have access to a waterblaster,as I said that's how I got revenge on some people that annoyed me. Any one reading this do not use it in some ways I have as it could get you into trouble.

Please don't use products like turpentine, gasoline, etc. They get into the groundwater and cause all kinds of problems such as killing wildlife.

Round-up is extremely effective and best of all, it breaks down quickly so will not leach into the groundwater and continue to kill. when you spray it on a plant's leaves, it kills the plant all the way down to the roots. I would recommend spraying the area with Round-up, then covering it with several layers of newspaper or mulch for a growing season. If you're planning on repaving or adding gravel, you can do this on top of the mulch.

I am from Canada, and we use a product called Round-Up here, you dilute it depending on the strength you need, it is great and have never had problems with it. It can be found at your local feed store... try a farming community, maybe you will find something similar.

best of luck

white vinegar will kill any plant. Or you could get Roundup at a superstore. Using roundup straight - not diluted - will murder anything growing.
