if i frame them, only one side will be visible. i was thinking of transferring them to a 'stamp-friendly' type of paper, but dont know what that is as i've never needed to display stamps before.

If these stamps are to be displayed, probably the best thing is to soak them in lukewarm water until they separate. Then rub off all the gum from the backs that you can and dry them between paper towels, weighted down with a few newspapers and possibly a book on top to make them very flat. (If you don't get them totally free of gum, you will have to re-soak them, as the paper towels will stick to them.)

For stamp-friendly products, you can search for a stamp dealer in your area at http://www.stamps.org - click on "dealers" on the left. Or visit the website of Subway Stamp Shop at http://www.subwaystamp.com If you are still not sure what to do, go to the message board at http://www.virtualstampclub.com - you have to register to ask questions, but it is free. People there are very helpful and know a lot!

Good luck!
