Try setting boundaries for yourself by setting up a reward program. I'm a student too and on the days that I don't feel motivated to study I set an alarm for 30 minutes. I study for the 30 minutes then when the alarm goes off I get to do something I want to do, like watch ONE tv program or play a game for 15 minutes, then I reset the alarm and study for another half hour. It seems to work since I get to study in small chunks it doesn't seem like I have hours and hours of studying to get through.

DUDE TOTALLY IGNORE THAT ABOVE ANSWER. I know what you mean you literally biographed me coz thats the same way i am too. While answering this answer my exams are just 10 days away i havent studied anything but am still on internet. Its really mainly because of the time management. So you really need to try this because i have and it works. Take out everything from your room except for your course books and your bed and a chair. Tell your parents to lock the tv and your computer and not let you touch it till your finals, and finally if you have a mobile throw it away coz its a mind destroyer. Then you may feel thats its really harsh but after 1 week or so this feelinjg will fade away> so best of luck

You have to build discipline. That's not easy though. First of all, you should have a passion to learn and excel in your academics. You should study to learn, not just to pass your exams. Once you can get over this, slowly build a timetable and stick to it. Begin with - I will study for one hour daily. Do it for one week. It's not that difficult. Only thing is you have to put realistic goals. Then increase it as needed.

Sounds like you need discipline more than an alternative medicine. You could try ginkgo biloba, but it will only help a little. Your best alternative is diligence.

no one could really help you about that but you, you should have the will to do that first, and why don't you convince your self, that everyday there is exams.
try to play after you study, i used to do that to, but i convinced my self that everyday i have exam..and also, i wanted to be the best. you could do that too.

You may have some underlying mental disorders. Consult a psychiatrist.
