I love it. I usually go once per year for the classic car show in May. They let all the old cars drive onto the boardwalk and park so you can check them out.
The best part of Wildwood - for me - is that it is only a couple miles (maybe 10 minute drive) from Cape May, NJ which I just LOVE. The Victorian houses, the beach, the promenade, Sunset Beach, the lighthouse, Physick Estate - - AWESOME!!

When we were kids, we used to like to ride the amusements. In college, people went there to drink at the bars.
Families ride bikes on the boardwalk in the early morning, but nights are mostly for the 'big kids'. There are several 50's style hotels, and the city has many planned events, depending on what you like to do (see link).
The beach is WICKED long, from some points on the boardwalk, you can hardly see the water. Some people like to fish or crab.

Yeah, I love to go there I go there every year!! I like the beach and just relaxing on the sand. I go on the rides and the waterpark.
