I have removed washed in grass stains with 409 and a brush. I sprayed the 409 in and used some sort of brush to work in it and then washed...Came right out.

Lestiol, work in to the jeans with a stiff brush, then launder in Lestoil, it works great, you will want to rinse twice to get rid of the Lestoil smell. Also automatic dish washing soap works well, if you use the powder make a loose paste out of the powder and water and scrub, then wash in the washer with the dish washing soap. I used these two ways to wash my sons football uniforms.
