I barely make it through the day and it's hard to wake up in the AM. I used to be able to wake up right away when the alarm went off but now I can't find the energy. I moved from a job where I was moving alot to a desk job- could this be a cause?

A lot of different things coud be causing your tiredness. Depression is a big one that affects a lot of people. Hormonal problems could be another. What other sympotms are you having? Have you spoken to your doctor? It is hard to give a clear answer and not know your situation or other symptoms. But good luck!

That might be a factor. However, lots of situations can contribute to fatigue. Are you getting enough iron? I was anemic at one point, and once I started taking iron pills my energy level rose dramatically. Are you falling asleep quickly? If it takes you a considerable amount of time to fall asleep, then try to stay away from screens (computer, TV) for a couple of hours before bedtime. What time do you work out? If you exercise in the morning, then that might boost your energy.

Other methods that might be helpful: Vitamin C pills, multivitamin every morning.

You may not be getting restful sleep. You could have some stress you are not aware of. And yes lack of activity can cause some lethargy during the day.

Some of my clients, after they had started Biofeedback Therapy with me, have noticed that what they thought was restful sleep was not. I had worked with them to reduce stress. They now come back to me telling me they were waking up earlier and staying more alert during the day following a session.

moving to that desk job could be the cause bcz your body has experienced a slow down compared to the other job. Did you change anything in your diet? that could be a reason too. If this tired ness gets too excessive, i suggest going to a physician

Speak with doctor and ask about a sleep clinic. A lot sleep disorders manifest as we get older. These disorders prevent one from actually getting that "deep" sleep that rejuvinates us for the next day.

Don't rule out the possibility of depression. Unrecognized depression can rob you of energy.
