When Hillary Clinton becomes president she will spring into action and to lead our country in a new direction, to put an end to Republican business as usual, and to make certain our nation's leaders serve the people's interests, not special interests. For her, this commitment has spanned a lifetime, as she will be elected to represent the people (by the people and not by the Supreme Court), not the powerful.
Her goal will be to restore accountability, honesty and openness at all levels of government. To do so, she will create and enforce rules that demand the highest ethics from every public servant, sever unethical ties between lawmakers and lobbyists, and establish clear standards that prevent the trading of official business for gifts.
She will listen to our generals and get an accurate picture of the war on Iraq and will appoint a SMART person (for a change) as her Secretary of Defense. They together will move the war in Iraq in the correct direction and will bring our troops home after winning the war in lot less time than we all thought possible.
That will be the top on her agenda. Once she achieves that in remarkable time, she will move into other important domestic issues such as health care reform.

Sounds to me like you are parroting. Don't you wish you could get and original thought. Rampant Homphobia? What is homphobia?
Socioeconomic Polarization. What crap. You have no idea what that means.
Of course GWB is responsible for everything that has gone wrong back to the Roman Legions. Get a new drum to beat.

What socioeconomic polarization? Rising waters raise all boats, and the economy is roaring.
Who says homophobia needs to be "cured", when 80+% of the nation fits the liberal definition of "homophobic, simply because of the gay marriage issue?
What quagmire in Iraq? We have made success after success after success, which is why soldiers re-enlist in record numbers.
The biggest healing our nation needs is for politics to stop at the waters edge. Unfortunately, it will only happen when we have a Democrat congress and President, not because of democrat superiority, but simply because Democrats still have yet to recover from 1994 and the total realization that they are not the majority of America anymore. When Democrats can cope with that, we will have healing.

You don't have me convinced that you really think this is a great country, as you spend so much time tearing down it's leaders. The healing process starts at home, you know.

And, oh yeah, Hillary won't become President, she is way to divisive.

The healing won't happen until we unite as a country. That can't happen until certain segments of society GET OVER the fact that President Bush won both elections fair and square, and did the best he could in light of the September 11, 2001 disaster.

I think that any new president is going to make change right away. Whether we feel this change right away may be another story. However, I think the first order of business is goinf to be to get the troops out of Iraq, the American people ore just tired of this. Iraq has had more than enough time to get their s*** together and run there own country. If the want to fight amounst themselves fine let them do it but get our troops home so they no longer have to be involved in it.

No leader can legislate an end to homophobia. They may allow gay marriage (although that's unlikely with any candidate), but you can't make a law that says, "stop fearing and disliking gays". Life doesn't work that way.

Personally, I find your politics abhorrant, and your stance ill-informed. Wake up, realize that you need to be better informed on these issues, and stop and think before posting.

Bill Clinton did, but he wasn't faced with as large a challange as the next president. The economy stupid and he went right to work and had a fix for that. The next president will have to work on international relations. He or she will have the huge deficit to contend with and the war in Iraq. Many other things that the currant president has messed up. I don't envy the job of the next one, it will be difficult. They will also face all the negitivity of the repuglicans unless we have the bad fortune of electing another idiot repuglican.
