Falling behind in school is the worst! I'd say just really try to concentrate on your work 1st off, take any materials home to study x-tra, to help catch up. You seem smart, you never know, you might not be as far behind as you think, or it may not be that hard to catch up. You'll make friends and those friends will be happy to help you out! I know I would help. So calm down, relax, don't stress sooo bad, without a clear head your already dooming yourself. Just think positive, and concentrate on your goal and find out what you need to do to accomplish it and try to REALLY buckle down this year! The worst that can happen is, for the 1st couple, few weeks you'll have to work really hard, don't be afraid to ask for help, don't give up, and keep your mind on your goal which may not be easy. But life is NOT EASY and you have to work hard to achieve good things and it sounds like you CAN do it. And the people on here seem to be pretty smart, if you get stumped on something like homework questions etc. we are all,...well most of us, are here to help, just ask. Good Luck!

if you know the materials that they're teaching at school, you can read ahead then ask the teacher if you have any questions.
