You mean am i motivated? Or asking if it's internally or externally?

I am not very motivated but when i am it's both internally and externally, maybe just a little bit more internal or external at times.

I am internally motivated. It is ultimately everyones only motivation. People only move towards their goals and what they think is best for them. Even if they seem to be in horrible circumstances to others...most people are exactly where they want to be (unless they are children or a victim of some tragedy).

Intrinsically?
You have hit upon a basic motivational issue and debate (intrinsic vs. extrinsic) in psychology. I just did a paper on intrinsic vs. extrinsically motivating students.
If you not familiar with it google Intrinsic motivation - or student motivation and there is a great deal of information.

I am mostly intrinsically motivated - but enjoy outer rewards too.

My liver,my kidneys,my heart and my spleen, all work together to motivate me. They gurgle and churgle and do their jobs well. Without them I'm finished,I'm living in hell. So I listen quite closely to what they all day....." get your *** in the saddle and enjoy this fine day!"
