u said "don't give any stupid answer". Why don't u think that u r asking a stupid question. How can we know what's in Inzi's mind and what was in Steve Waugh's mind when he retired. Inzi is performing that's why he is still playing.

FRIEND i think ur cricket knowledge is week, steve was droped as an odi captain and from the team just before the world cup,he would have been dropped from test cricket also just like his brother (mark waugh)he did a wise thing by quiting or he would have been dropped from test playing team also,INZI is perfoming good so he is still there.

Steve Waugh is not playing for Australia because he called it a day on his own as he felt that it is better to leave before his form become poor and he is dropped from the side . Inzamam is still playing because he does not want to stop playing and Pakistan Cricket Board and selectors want him to play.

STEVE WAUGH is playing for australia. He entered the recent rock paper scissors national tournaments and won his way through to represent australia at the internationals. I am surprised it hasnt been on the news. Is That why you posted this question to see if anyone knew??

Australia being a million down in this sequence against New Zealand, i don't think of it is real to take a seat back Ponting in the 2d and third ODI, those are needed fits in the sequence. It won't provide lots of self assurance to the Australians in the event that they lose this sequence against New Zealand, and on the 2d self assurance seems to be the main efficient element lacking in this new section. I agree that Ponting would would desire to be rested sometime earlier South Africa, yet not real now.

no steve waugh is not playing for australia!!
it's simple as that-

they play if they feel that they still have the ability to !!
