Bonzo's actually the suitable drummer, so as that seat's taken and Zep's out of the operating. between Jack Bruce and John Entwhistle, i imagine i'd take Entwhistle, although McCartney's no slouch both (which takes the Who out). All Cream has left to make a contribution is Clapton so he's in. Which leaves the Beatles and the Stones, and we already have each little thing as well different guitar gamers and singers, so as that wipes out Starr and Watts, also Wyman although McCartney also performs guitar, so....... i have continually in demand Lennon, so he's in there, and now only fill it out with Keef because Mick will be annoying and a band like this does no longer want a frontman. So: Bonzo Entwhistle Clapton Lennon Keef

Can't help thinking Butterman's group, though interesting would be utterly unlistenable... I also suspect both Robert Plant and Jimmy Page may be surprised to find out they're dead....
Rhythm section HAS to be Moon and Entwistle, if only because they played together when alive. Then it's a question of whether to go guitar/keys or a twin guitar line up.... I think if only because of my purist view of straightforward rock and roll it has to be two guitars: So Stevie Ray Vaughan gets the nod over Hendrix, on the grounds he started where Hendrix left off and went further: and I'd go with Rory Gallagher, pure honest power and blues integrity... I'd love to see the two of them play off each other. Both of them could also carry a tune, so it's possible they could roster some vocal duties, leaving a gap to put Ray Charles in on keyboards and vox..... OK, yeah, that'll do...

Oh gosh can I make 2? Too bad I am anyway.
1st group:
Robert Johnson (guitar), Keith Moon (drums), George Harrison (guitar), Janis Joplin (vocals), Ron McKernan (keyboard).
2nd group:
Jerry Garcia, Gram Parsons, Lester Flatt, Johnny Cash, and Bill Monroe. (these guys could just take any part they wanted).
Ok so, I'd also like to put Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, and Duane Allman in a guitar circle where they'd all play off of each other. That would get crazy- amazing.

John Bonham (drummer for Led Zeppelin): he is amongst my 3 or 4 top drummers who ever existed
Jimi Hendrix (guitar virtuoso): By far one of the more groundbreaking guitarists who ever existed.
Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace (rapper): Before he was murdered by Puff Daddy's mob, he had amazing groove and flow.
Robert Johnston (bluesman): He was killed (poisoned) by a jealous crowd member at the age of 25. He's be perfect to add that blues flavor to the mix.
George Harrison (ex-Beatles): he had that flair and the "experimental" other side the remaining Beatles lacked.
Thelonious Monk (on keys): One of the most unbelievable jazz keyboardists to have lived; and he also was missing a few digits from previous industrial accidents!
Cheers
