Yes, there is a Hotel Mercure in Schiphol Airport by the international section. Mercure would be a three star hotel, so if you're on a budget I recommend that... they also have deals for passengers who don't need to overnight but just need a room for a few hours to freshen up.

If you do have some extra cash to spend, there is also a Sheraton hotel just across the street from the airport. You can't miss it. It should be at least four stars if not five.

to book just check the Sheraton website www.sheraton.com or the website of Accor Hotels for Mercure www.accorhotels.com

otherwise, if you're really broke (like I've been several times in Europe) there are lockers where you can store your stuff at about 4 euros a day, public showers you can use for 7 euros (they even give you free soap and a towel to use), and you can sleep on the benches between 12am-6pm. i've done that.

There is one--I've seen it several times when I've been through Amsterdam's airport. I believe it is a Mercure, part of the Accor chain of hotels. Check http://www.schiphol.nl Schiphol Airport's official website.

Links to hotel info, and this airport hotel's website, below.
