I think that lurking is one of today most misunderstood pastimes, I try to do it for about half an hour every day.
As the poet William Henry Davies (1871 - 1940) once almost said:
"What is this life if full of care
We have no time to Lurk and stare"

I do about an hour a day, 5 times a week, at the gym...see that lady pumping iron, glancing in the mirrors? That's me!! Lurking over by the squat press machine....lurking, staring....

I love to lurk. I drive ariound at night because I can see in other peoples living rooms. I leave my windows open do people can see in mine. It is so much fun.
