Eyeshadow application differs from person to person. It depends on your coloring and the shape of your eyes. I would suggest going to the mall (you may want to call first to set up an appt.) and having a makeover done. You can have the makeup artist at a makeup counter (IE Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique) show you some ways to apply your eyeshadow. They do this at no cost, but it is nice if you buy at least one product from them, as they usually work on commission. Good Luck!

Wear 4 shades: a light shade goes on the lid along the lashes, a dark shade applied to the crease of the lid, a medium or light shade to blend that up toward the brow, an almost white shade along the brow.

What I do, and always seem to get complimented on, is to put the lightest shade on the bottom part of my eyelid and the darkest shade in the crease of my eye with the medium just above it and BLEND!!! Blending is the most important thing to do. I also like to take the medium or dark shade and put a small line under my eye instead of eyeliner and blend it until it's almost faint. Just practice. you'll get it.

Put the med shade on the lid itself, the darkest shade over the crease of your eyelid and the lightest shade to highlight just below the brow. The most important thing is to blend it so that it does not look striped. You can just use your fingers to gently blend.

Blue eyeshadow is the 'whore' shade in many situations speaking as is purple lips, besides the very undeniable truth that it truly is unlikely that you'll pull it off because those with brown eyes and a yellow/tan undertone (oriental) ought to positioned on browns pinks and perchance in case your ambitious an quite common purple that looks better purple than purple. in case you quite %. to dare it positioned an truly common layer of it on your lid

Well I like to Buy shadows by Rimmel of london . you can get it at wal mart or any store like that. They have many different pallets in shades of 3. I usually apply the medium colored one one on the lid of my eye and up slightly towards the begininning of my brow. then take the darkest shade and sweep it from the middle of your eye Crease(in between eye lid and brow) towards the outside of your eye then apply the lightest just below your eyebrow on the brow bone. Apply eyeliner then mascara. You can see pictures of me at http://www.mysace.com//browny907 . to get an idea of what my makeup looks like.

Yes, have you been to sites such as Maybelline. The shape of your eyes depends on how you would where multiple colors. Also, use colors that match, and/or blend well with one another. Several companies make eye shadow compacts that you can use. If you're not sure, about how to do it. Go to your local department store make-up counter such as clinic. They will show you how to apply the shadows, and help you pick out colors that you need.

Hi Judy, first you put a highlighter up against the eyebrow (usually ivory, white or light pink. In the crease of your eye put a darker shade of the color you plan on putting on the lid. Then on the lid a color you've decided to wear. For example - ivory, dark pink in the crease and light sparkly pink on the lid.

Hope this helps. liandadayna
