Many of the people protesting seem on the verge of mass insanity. Mob hate, same thing as Hitler and the Jews.

Protests are when some people/group feel they are right and the other wrong - the Catholic pope apologizing shows the protest had a reason. Please remember there has never been a shred of evidence against Osama B. L, we only have the words of two liars (Bush & Blair) that OBL is connected - a democracy is people are innocent until found guilty. The Iraqis believed this is what US democracy meant, but to their horror have found that it means no such thing, it means - shoot now, question later.

1. First they protest,, then they bomb.

2. Keep thinking that way,,and you will see a suicide bomber in the Vatican.

Terrorists and extremists have no respect or regard for human life or the sanctity of the Vatican or pope. If god was on his throne and greater than Osama,, God would have snuffed him long ago.
God is a myth and superstition,, Osama is VERY real and VERY crazy.

Here is a link to the English translation of the Pope's controversial speech: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/speeches/2006/september/documents/hf_ben-xvi_spe_20060912_university-regensburg_en.html

In my opinion, although what the Pope said was true, he said it in the wrong way to the wrong people.

If you are going to give a constructive criticism to your neighbor (Islam) then you should do it to his face not behind his back.

The Pope's speech used Islam as a bad example of "faith and reason" to a group of Catholics when he probably could have found a better bad example in Catholicism.

Therefore it was appropriate for the Pope to apologize.

With love in Christ.

When Muslims protest, people DIE!!!

Most other religious groups merely march or write nasty letters to the editor.

Yeah, but if they retalliate and blow up the nursery next door in the name of Allah you don't want to feel like you pushed the hand of whacko nutjob fanatics.
