Number 11 is actually on the right-hand side, although the properties are now all interlinked, King Blair lives at number 11 and Prince Gordo lives at number 10, they swapped because number 11 has a larger living area than number 10!

no 11 is on the left and no 10 to the left of no 11 is no 12 where the cheif whip of the party in goverment lives, there are only 3 houses in downing street ..10,11,12, and they are all on the same side of the street. opposite is commonwealth buildings and ministry of defence.
