Clomid Ovulate Question???
I had an HSG, no blockage. Dr. put me on 50mg of clomid days 3-7. Went in on day 12 for ultrasound. Had 2 follicles, one was 19 and other was 25-31 in size. I was given shot of profosi on friday.. We had intercourse that day, several times on sunday and tuesday.I had some little sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and during intercourse my cervix was very sore feeling. Now it's day 18 any I am wondering when will symptoms start if I am preg? I have been feeling alittle nasea, my lower stomach seems to be alittle bloated and hard feeling too. Don't know if I am just anxious or is this something. When should I test? My cycles were going 23-24 days until last month, it was 29 days.

A lot of those feelings could be side effects from the meds...but hopefully you are pregnant!
If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.

Early signs of Pregnancy:

Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

Clomid just helps you ovulate. The sharp pains you were feeling could've been ovulation pains. If you conceived, you'll have the same symptoms any other pregnant woman might have. They usually begin around the same time implantation occurs about 5 days after ovulation. However, the shot you got is Hcg, which is the hormone your body produces when you are pregnant. This can cause you to have early pregnancy symptoms. Did your doctor tell you that with this shot, you can't take a home test because it can detect the hcg that was injected in you and give you a false positive?

I take Clomid to help me ovulate and get Hcg injections on both days 14 and 21 of my cycle. I have to wait until day 32 of my cycle and if I don't start, I have to get a blood test.

I also took clomid this month and that i ovulated later then ordinary. If the healthcare professional took blood and informed you that you've been ovulating, then get busy!! I had to flow to the healthcare professional the different day to get blood paintings done to work out if the med worked and at the same time as i'd ovulated!! So i'd say the dr is nice. Clomid would paintings in yet in a unique way for anybody! Get busy and sturdy success!

Clomid will help regulate/lengthen your cycles (which it sound like it has).

Unfortunately, because of the profasi you may need to wait a little longer to confirm if you are pregnant - as you don't want to receive a false positive result.

Could the feeling sick / bloatedness be because of the meds?

Good luck
