how come guys can remember endless unimportant stats like how many millenium falcons there were in Star Wars or every goal scored by David Beckham in 1996 yet they're incapable of remembering birthdays or anniversaries?

Thankfully not all men are like that, my hubby has never forgotten my birthday or any of our anniversaries, we do have friends who do forget their wives and girlfriends special days and go mental if there's are forgotten, I do know some women who are as bad though, guess some people are just too wrapped up in themselves to worry about others.

because there was only one millenium falcon in star wars. It's an easier number than birthdays. And it comes with no payload, no obligation, no worries, so it doesn't sit in your brain like a grumpy leprachaun.
