Brace for impact. Remember, life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.

There is ALWAYS something you can do: acceptance. And once you have accepted it you can move on to solutions. Take the phone of the hook and meditate. Make a list of the things that are bothering you. Prioritize which needs the most attention. A lot of times just taking action will bring a sense of relief. Seek guidance, whether from a trusted friend, a counselor or clergy member. And as far as panicking, I always ask myself what the WORST thing that can happen is. Logically of course. Once I have done that and thought about how I would cope with it things seem to get much easier to deal with. I find that what could be is always much worse than what actually is.
Good luck.

you didnt say why its spinning out of control. if its because of you then you can stop it at anytime. change your behavior. if its not because of you and its because of other people, then let it crash cause there isnt anything u can do anyway except tell others how u feel. u dont have control over anyone else. during anyones lifetime this happens. so when it does u just pick yourself up and pick up the pieces worth saving and start over.

Just take a deep breath. Sometimes a crash is what you need to get your life moving in the right direction again.

Wrong. There is something you can do. You need to recognize the warning signs before it gets to the 'out-of-control' stage. This way you can avoid the crash long before it happens.

I freeze, calm down. If immediate action is required, I act. If not, I turn on some music and surf the net while thinking, or I put on my headphones and mp3 player and go for a walk.

write down why each thing is occurring, which ones are because of your action or inaction ... which are thrust upon you by outside sources? what change can you make that will give you some control? pros and cons of each issue .. use the pros to resolve the cons ... good luck
by breaking it down into manageable steps, you can take control back

YES there IS something you can do -- CHANGE your behavior, adapt, and RESPOND so that you can recover -- because life IS always about meeting challenges face on and being able to overcome them one by one -- day in and day out.
