Its either that or walking home and getting there at about 10 till 5pm when I get out at 4pm.

since there is nobody's opinion that counts but your own, do whatever you want
people think it is not cool to ride something not "hip" or modern sometimes
would you feel it was dorky to drive a 1969 mustang gt with a 428 cobra jet powerhouse ? that's old , too
people sometimes ridicule that which they dont understand or appreciate
why do pilots like to fly the old bi-planes ?
why do people collect old style bikes, cars, motorcycles ?
cuz they are cool
not everyone out there has the knowlege on the subject
the main thing is you are an individual and have the right to find pleasure in your own way
look up old bikes on the net and you will see a whole world of collectors and people who are interested and place value in the retro styles
todays bikes are a dime a dozen
enjoy what you have and the history behind it
every one of those people will someday be talking about the good old days
then they will wish they had something from the past

Nope, not dorky. Retro bikes are so cool, especially the actual antiques. You ride your hip retro bike!

Just ride your bike no matter what anyone thinks. A dorky bike beats walking home in my opinion. ^_^

Ride the bike....Who cares what the other kids think?? Biking is excellent exercise. Have fun and just ignore those who want to be negative about it....You'll understand when you get older that nothing these kids say matters...It's your life. Enjoy!
