I looked really great and their boyfriends/husbands were hitting on me and buying me drinks. I was a bit drunk so I might have been flirting back. However, they followed us out to our car and started beating me up. I don't think this was right at all. My boyfriend was there and not drinking and didn't have a problem with guys flirting with me! It was not like I was touching them, just smiling! Why can girls be so mean? I was dressed sexy but looked cute. Also, I'm normally very shy and I never start fights! Luckily, my bf and his sister were able to get the girls off me. Don't you think they should've been arrested?

The act of attacking someone is a ground for an arrest. Police should had been called.

Not sure how you aroused such resentments in these attackers but that doesn't matter now. At least for now. They had absolutely no right to touch you in any manner, let alone in a violent manner, and this is illegal, of course they should be held accountable for their actions.

But back to you and your accountability. It is sure to arouse resentments in others, right or wrong, when you "flirt" with an unavailable party. Some people don't care, as they may see it as harmless, however these girls felt aroused enough to attack you so they did most definitely not see it as harmless. And there was alcohol involved which can definitely "heighten" emotions.

So, now the choice is yours, if you continue your behavior in the same manner described, you will most "definitely" invite more attacks from people who are not mature enough to handle their own emotions. Is this something you want to risk? Or do you just want to go with the flow and steer clear of flirting with anyone who may be attached, with a "jealous" partner skulking somewhere nearby. Peace.

Yeah, that was wrong of them to attack you.
Your lucky you weren't alone & had help.
You should have never left the parking lot, the police should have been call right then.
You may be able to report the beating now & press charges on the women. Call & find out.
Hope this helps, good luck.

of course its legally wrong and they should have been arrested. however, if you're poncing around dressed like a slapper and flirting with people's boyfriends and husbands, you can't be that surprised that they were angry with you.
