how do i disable an old yahoo email account? someone hacked into it and ws sending out nasty messages?

Why don't you contact Yahoo directly as this counts as abuse?

You can Terminate that old Yahoo Account here: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user

You have to close it.Log on to your email and click on help in the upper corner.Type in close my account.It will take you to a link to do that.
