what makes a good wife is the very same qualities that make a good person. wont even go to the 1950's the less said about that the better. being a good wife and being a good husband aren't that much different now. both have responsibilities all the way down to cleaning the toilet both have to put work into the marriage to stay together and have to be willing to take up each others slack when necessary.

That is a question that can only be answered by the husbands....Personally, I feel that I have the qualities of a good wife in the fact that I work, clean house, do the laundry, cook on most nights, and take care of the kids and all of this my husband helps me out....I am his best friend, his confidant, etc. I am the one who pickes him up when he is down and helps him wade through lifes tough waters, and he does the same for me. Everyone has different ideas of what makes a good wife and/or husband and as long as you are happy with your spouse that is all that matters.

It depends on individual. There is no fixed guidelines on what are the qualities of a good wife. Some guys want their waife must be able to cook and look after their home as well whereas some guys want their wife to show their support to him when he is at the peak of his career or he is building his career. So it depends on what guys think is good quantities of a good wife

today's qualities of a good wife, that'll have to depend on what the husband thinks of his wife. but if today's wife is a house wife, pretty much you have to have dinner ready before the hubby gets home, take care of the kids, and have house cleaned, pay the bills etc.
