Well, you cannot tell "self" with or without self. Self is the thinking part of you. It is not self aware. It just is. Everything that it analyzes is beyond itself. Your actions, behavior, pain, feelings...these are all "non-self". But this is not quite what you asked for.

The answer for your question is really easy: No. You can't call/do anything without self.

Now that I think about it...hmmm...if there is a self, then everything is a self. Well, not everything...our body ( with the self subtracted) is the non-self. That's the only thing the self can be aware of. Everything else, the "outside" environment or more generally the "world" is something that the "non-self" "told" about to the self. Our body might be lying about the world, or maybe miss representing, therefore there is no guarantee that there is anything "non-self" outside of our body.
