Yes he did and it was really good! I tried to download it the other month and got a version by someone called Patrick Neo- which is no where near as good as Swayzes version so Im quite upset really, but you could make me feel better by giving me the best answer and 10 points (Im batting my eyelashes at you sweetly)

Yes. He and Stacy Widelitz wrote it for a different movie in 1984, but it was cut from that film. Patrick played it for the producers of "Dirty Dancing" while filming in North Carolina, they loved it, and the rest is history.

Well,believe it or not it actually IS Patrick Swayze.I couldnt believe it either....pretty good voice ey?I loved that movie and think he's a great dancer.He was a ballet dancer before he became an actor....not bad at all..
