There's no mystery at all. As P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute". People who accept without question any snake-oil panacea that comes around are forever doomed to find that there's an endless supply of hucksters out there willing to take advantage of them. Be more skeptical. Educate yourself. That's the real source of power; one that protects you from unscrupulous purveyors of b.s.!
