I'd prefer a dog

Either one can be wonderful. Find out which one (cat or dog) is right for you. When you go to a pet store (or wherever you will buy an animal), ask to look at the cats AND dogs.!

I love them both. As a rule, cats take up less space and take less care than dogs. Cats like to cuddle and they are useful in ridding a home of pests like mice and bugs. Dogs are loyal, and always grateful to see you even if you have been gone less than a minute. They let you know when there are "intruders" in their territory and can be a deterrent to home invasion. I have three cats and one large dog. Which do I prefer? Same as asking me which of my kids I like best!

I prefer a dog he is always at window waiting for me to get home.

Dogs, I'm scared of cats and dogs are much friendlier and fun to be around. they're men's best friend :)

Umm,i would have to say dogs,and cats.I am planning on becoming a vet,so well i kinda love em all.but dogs in cases to train better then cats and in others they dont.

Dogs. If you just want to sit around so are they, if you want to play they are eager to join in, if you feel like a walk you don't have to ask them twice, they show you unconditional love and affection without saying a word.

cats, they are much cleaner than dogs, and they are so cute too.
with dogs there are a lot of responsibilities and tasks to do,
you have to walk them out everyday, you have to give them a shower evey week, play with them, and for some, you have to teach them where to poo.
