with provider..gave up computer problem involving my pictures..please help?
I saved a whole bunch of pictures today for desktop. There are two ways I know to access the pictures

1. through going to start and clicking on my pictures which shows all the pictures and you can set as desktop picture.

or 2. by going to control panel hitting, clicking on appearance and themes and then on change the desktop. At this one you can put the picture on centered, tile, or stretch.

My question and problem..
Is there an easy way of getting the pictures from the first place (above #1) to the 2nd place (see above #2) so not only are they on the desktop but you can do as tile or stretch.

The only way I know is to do each one individually which is taking forever..Is there any easier way to do this?

Thanks..a million

I want to see them both as tile and stretch but they are only in the first place not the 2nd where I need to do it (unless I manually do each one and it's taking forever)

The wallpapers you see in “Desktop Properties” dialog box loads from the location called C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper. And if you copy all the picture files to that location, you can do the Tile, Stretch and center without opening that file back. But if you want to remove the file coping, and automatically fixing the wallpapers from any location in the computer, go for 3rd party software. There is desktop cycling software which is capable of doing the followings.
- Automatically cycle the wallpapers after a particular time
- They can get images from lot of locations other than “My Pictures”
- You can set weather you want Tile, Center or stretch.
I recommend the software called “WebShots” for this. You can get a free copy of it from the link http://www.webshots.com/samplers
Hope this helps!

I put all of my pics on Shutterfly. I was able to download them from my desktop directly to shutterly. I know Yahoo also has a service for storing pics, and I think Kodak probably does as well. My daughter told me about Shutterfly. I've used it for not only storing but also ordering pics. I am also going to make a calendar for my parents as a Christmas gift, once again through Shutterly. The prices are very cheap and storing your pictures doesn't cost anything. In addition, you don't have to worry about losing your pics or anything. Hope this helps!!

There is no such software in PC to such a thing. Maybe you should write some appropriate search queries and hit google.

I am sure the tech help line is not gonna solve your problem. They simply gonnan tell you off by saying " Sorry sir/madam we only deal with technical problems, please purchase our premium software-hardware support package for XXXX$ and those folks will help you out"

Select on the first pic, then hold shift and move the arrows down. Then copy and paste entire selected field to where you want it
