NO.. sorry.. wedding ring goes on the left hand.. sounds to me more of an excuse to look like ur not married more then anything.. i wear my wedding ring on my left hand and i wear other rings on my right.. and ive yet to find a reason why being right handed that it would make any difference as it doesnt affect my abilities to do anything with my right hand just because im wearing rings, and im wearing ones that are raised with stones not a flat band.. so give me a break..

These days its not that big of a thing to some couples rather it is left or right. But as Ive been married for many many years and I do weddings. Let me tell you the reason the ring is worn on the left hand its because its the life line to your heart that is on the left ring finger. But let me say also that my husband who makes a living with his hands cant ware a ring because of the job. So the ring is a sign not requirement any more.

The reason people wear wedding rings on their left hands is because the left hand is closer to the heart. If you wear it on your right hand, no one will know it is a wedding band. Out of respect for your wife, you should follow custom. Perhaps if the ring is causing you discomfort, purchase a thinner band.

the left ring finger is the traditional place for the wedding band, however, if the husband works in a job where the ring may be caught in equipment and such, then moving it to the other hand may be an option.. or not wearing one at all. who needs a ring anyway... marriage is a state of mind.

No, that's one of the prices you pay for living in a right-handed society. The wedding band on the left hand doesn't mean the same thing.

No, the wedding ring always goes on the left hand ring finger UNLESS you do not have a left hand ring finger.

That would only depend on his occupation. I knew a shunter on the railways who was left handed and he wore his wedding ring on his right hand for safety. There was a danger of catching the ring while shunting and possibly losing his hand.
