You say that you haven't been on the pill for very long. Let me reassure you that QUITE OFTEN girls have to return to their doctor for an adjustment in their birth control pill (usually for a different kind with a different level of hormones) until they hit upon the right one for their bodies. Report this to your doctor and as a precaution, use condoms while you're having sex during this cycle. The reason being, if perhaps the problem is that this pill isn't strong enough, it's efficiency at preventing pregnancy will be compromised. A two week long period doesn't seem indicative of a pregnancy to me, but your doctor can help you evaluate what your risk of getting pregnant was at that time by taking your specific symptoms into account.
Best of luck!!

Oh hun, when you miss a pill it opens up a lead way.By that i mean, you up your chance of getting pregnant seeing as how the pill isnt 100% effective in any case. This could be many things.
You could have been pregnant and this abnormal bleeding could be from a miscarriage. Also, when you miss a pill it kind of gets off balance. The hormones in the pill help regulate them, when you miss one they get all messed up.What i would suggest you do hun is go to your obgyn or one in your area. They can give you are way more accurate answer.Remember to always be open with your obgyn about your sexual history. Also, remember that nothing,is 100% accurate like not having sex at all.The pill isnt 100% and doesnt prevent the contraction of std's,so have another form of protection available. Please be careful, and good luck.I wish you the best.

depends how long ago u forgot to take the pill misscariges under a month usually go unnoticed mayb a heavier period but if ur getting clots say the size of a 20 pence piece i would seek medical adice as wen i had a misscarrige they rold me to return to hospital if i was getting large clots if there is no pain and the bleeding slows i shouldnt worry get advice from a doc though coz if u were more than a few weeks u may need to check there nothing else left inside if it was a misscarrige or if there is a baby in there coz u can still bleed if ur pregnant good luck wateva the outcome

it just sounds like an erratic period, the new pills have a composition that regularizes the period, missing one shouldnt cause a fluctuation like this. If you think you could have gotten pregnant, then too there isnt that much blood or discharge unless theres something the doctor needs to see. This is one of those problems that are probably nothing but you still need to check it out with a doctor.

I dont think you are pregnant dont panic just yet the best thing you can do is wait you prob just messed your cycle up with missing it and as you said you are new on this pill so your body will still be unsettled at the moment. Id stop the pill untill you do have a period and then restart on the day you have your period do but use protection in the mean time.

Honey, The doctor should have told you there are only 2 certain ways to not become pregnant.abstinence and a total hysterectomy. The pill still gives you a slight chances as does any other form of birth control. Go out today and get an EPT test and put your mind at ease. You might also be having a tubal pregnancy or a miscarriage.

Good luck.

go ahead and do a home pregnancy test and if its negative then you maybe experiencing break through bleeding. this can happen when some woman who switch from one birth control to another will experience breath rough bleeding due to the hormone level changes this can also happen when u miss a pill because it caused the hormone level to drop in your system and if your body is sensitive to theses changes it will cause bleeding and sometimes its like having a second period. your body is trying to balance out theses hormones so its just trying to get back on track.

Not a doctor, but I am thinking that the pill is not the right dosage for you, and is not controlling your hormones properly.

Either that or you have some other medical problem. Best way to find out is to see a doctor.

Try using one of those self-pregnancy test kits available at wallgreens over the counter. it costs around 16 -20$ or you could use similar kits which checks the surge and soaring of some particular hormone(dont remember the name) which actually tells you if you are going to be pregnant or not.

I would stop taking the pill..in case you are pregnant. some signs of pregnancy are fatigue(not w/everyone i never had it), swollen or sore breasts, small abdominal pains(from the muscles stretching) increased appitite. You should get a home pregnancy test and take it. also you can go to pregnancy clinics..they are completly confidential and offer free testing. if you are pregnant and dont want a baby or are not ready please look into adoption. if you are not pregnant and your symptoms continue please see a doctor..you could be sick.
i hope this helped....
