Well, be upfront with her about it. Tell her you don't like it when somebody messes around in the house or doesn't help you with the house hold. It's too much to do it yourself. And having another person is going to make it double. If she can do that, she's welcome to stay. If not, she can look somewhere else. And yeah, don't forget about the bills either. That's usually the main bone of contention.

Yes, I would...if I didn't I wouldn't be much of a friend. Your friends should come before your house! A mess can be cleaned up, a good friend can't be replaced!

Set a house rule and asked her to follow strictly. If she doesn't, there will be a penalty, maybe a fine or something. If she really cares about your friendship, she would understand you. Afterall, it's your house.

People always say: "Easy to get along, but hard to live together." This is kinda true!

I'd certainly think twice about it and as it is your house, you have every right to ask visitors (especially those long term ones) to respect that you and your house is tidy.
