You did well. I think if "you" like the poem then it is good. It is personal, emotional and sounds as if it may speak to others. This is all good. Keep doing it you may find others can really relate and perhaps it will be equitable in the long run for you in several ways.

This is not bad, I would change the last word but that is just my preference. Poetry's first requirement is to appeal to you, yourself and to be an outlet for personal emotions.
