Try to change his attitude towards life and human beings in general. Unless he understands the importance of others around him, you may find it difficult to curb his rude behavior.

Try talk to him if it bothers you and explain how his rudeness makes u (or others) feel...Other than that, theres not a lot more u can do to change his attitude, it's what makes him who he is....

You cant.
You have two choices: if it bothers you that much, give up on him.
OR you can talk to him like a good friend would and explain to him how rude he is.
BUT you cant change anyone.
