Total Urban Myth.
He was in a popular tabloid a few weeks back explaining how it was only a character and how stupid he found it that people hated him on the back of an advert. An advert that was meant to be annoying!
He's alive and well and talking about making a follow up!

It's an urban myth - type "The Frosties Kid" into Wikipedia, it'll show you a few important bits of information. He's actually from South Africa, and the whole advert was filmed there, so he hasn't suffered too badly from mass hounding by the UK press.
