Can we make India the most powerful country in the world?

I want to see India as the Most powerful country in this world means sound at knowledge, sound in peace, sound in innovations, sound in culture .............. simply sound in every thing

You need to get rid of the massive poverty you have, the caste system that isn't supposed to exist anymore but still does, the injustices that exist in India and most importantly you need to decrease the size of your population down massively.....right now it is way way too big and is very dangerous....if doesn't decrease drastically you will never be able to stop all the inequality that goes on. But maybe you should not aim for the most powerful country in the world....i mean once the ussr was the most powerful and life wasn't too great there for the ordinary people....Maybe you should just aim for a good living standard like there is in countries like Australia, New Zealand and Sweden..Here in Australia, while i was a student (i've just graduated) I did a degree for virtually free(we have a tax like system that takes money out once you earn over a certain amount), the governent gave me a couple of hundred dollars a week to pay for rent and food and bills and i earned a couple hundred more working 10 hours a week for clothes and leisure, i had free health care and no medication costs over $10. In countries like this medicine and housing is free and every child you have you get $4000 off the government if you are poor and you get free medicine and treatment and housing. wouldn't you rather India be a country like this, then all powerful, as most all powerful countries,like the USA, don't have the social equality and benefits.

Don't practice communalism, use your power of franchise properly. Don't vote as per religion or caste. And PLS don't vote for the Congress EVER AGAIN!

Oh ya, and don't litter the streets. You wouldn't do the same in Dubai or Singapore, right? So why not in your motherland too?

Most importantly, never think that India can never progress. It has been doing so for the past 6 decades and doing really well, especially when we take into account India's extensive land area, the continuously growing population and the variety of rich cultures, religions and communities.

India is powerful when it has citizens like you. Doing your assignment sincerely, keeping the national interest paramount and upholding the values of the Indian culture and values would fetch you the desired results. i.e. India would become a powerful country as you have visioned.

Ya we can make provided the following conditions to be met.

Elimintaing illitracy among the people.
Controlling the population growth.
Providing job oppurtunities to the unemployed.
Providing basic amenities and proper health care to all.
Elliminating the caste divide religious violence and terrorism as these are major hindrances to development.
Decreasing the crime ratio by proper policing and psychological means.
People should be educated proper morals through media.
Energy conservation should be adopted .
Pollution controll should be done ,
Price control should be done as to check the uneven pricing policies .
Measures should be taken to ensure fair trading practices.
Countrys growth depend up on its people so there shoul be no
room for any discrimination on grounds of gender caste communal.

Y not? But 4 that we need a better govt., we got to stop brain-drain, curb corruption, secure our borders better, reduce the cultural & communal gap btwn the ppl & selflessly serve our motherland.
