They are made in a factory from the Mars company. The are similar to Snickers except they have almonds instead of peanuts. Hence, Mars bars being renamed to Snickers Almond.

Mars Bars?? Never heard of them.I looked it up though, and I found this.The Mars Bar or Mars is a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars Incorporated. It is made of chocolate-malt nougat topped with a layer of caramel and covered with milk chocolate.
Mars Bar is made of toffee, nougat and is covered in creamy milk chocolate.
The Mars bar was sold as the the Milky Way bar in North America. In the UK another bar was sold as Milky Way. This has led to much confusion over the years. The Mars bar wrapper is black. For many years the Mars Bar was sold in the United Kingdom & Canada using the slogan "A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play".
In 2002 the UK-sold Mars Bar was altered and repackaged to make it more appealing to women. The nougat filling was whipped more, making it lighter and more like the Milky Way.

The Mars Bar formerly sold in the USA (renamed "Snickers Almond") was a slightly different product to the Mars Bars still sold in other countries, which do not contain almonds.
It all started with Frank Mars back in 1911 when he and his wife Ethel started making and selling a variety of butter-cream candies from the spotless kitchen of their home in Tacoma Washington. In 1920, after visiting a local drugstore with his son Forrest, he thought what a good idea it would be if they could produce a version of chocolate, malted milk that could be enjoyed anywhere. The result was the MILKY WAY bar - known in Europe as the MARS bar. It was an immediate success.
Mars now has a direct presence in 65 countries, and its products are sold in well over 100.

i dont know how its made but they are Genius......but i do know the best chocolete slice
is a Mars Bar slice just get a biscuite pan put greaseproof paper (line it) then lay Mars bars in pan..
cook on medium till melted then chill
then munch

Layer the noguat and caramel. Cut strips of it and coat it with milk chocolate.
