Some girls take longer to get started. Is she athletic? That can slow down reproductive development. I knew a girl growing up that was 16 when she started. If you are worried, bring it up with her doc.

My mom has 9 kids. Five of us have children, some more than one. The other 4 are too young yet.

My father in law is one of 14 children and each of them have multiple kids.

Everyone develops at different rates but if you are concerned then take your daughter to the DR. No one knows what causes infertility or how to prevent it but it can be hereditary for reasons unknown. You have a lot of kids so I would worry about that so much, she may just be developing slower. But if it really concerns you then either take her to the DR or ask your own if they think there is a reason to be concerned. HTH

That can be true, but not for the reasons you are concerned about it. Statistically, the more children you have the more likely any number of issues can crop up. It's random. I agree with the other posts that these things take time and each girl is different.

i do not comprehend. after we persisted to have miscarriages and a nonetheless beginning I felt so loopy. I had continuously needed to be a mom. I save in ideas questioning why God made me to experience so maternal and then i ought to no longer carry a touch one. I worked as a pediatric nurse and watched those style of satisfied couples with their babies and merely couldn't understand why i changed into so "damaged". Then we had the youngsters who were so ill and needed foster homes. a number of them stayed contained in the medical institution as there changed into no abode to deliver them abode to. My husband and that i determined per chance this changed into what we were meant to do. So we grew to change into foster father and mom. there have been some childrens who ought to no longer go abode. So then we grew to change into adoptive father and mom. So i do not comprehend if that's the reason we were infertile yet i comprehend we experience very blessed with our relatives.

The first and the last child are no more likely to be infertile that anyone else in the world. More likely you are assigning developmental milestones where there should be none.

never heard of this and i studied bio-of course when you have more then one child risks are increased w/ everything-because of the population/not the genetic-makeup of the child-you could have ten and all healthy or you could have 1 and that child ill-of course if you have underling circumstances-such as medical conditions that run in your family;then you count your blessing the child that you have is normal/when the next one can very well have the genetic marker passed on-hope this is helpful to you!

I started mine at 14 and no problems with fertility. But if she doesn't start soon, you should take her to a GYN. It may be an endocrine problem...
