The vampire stuff is pretty much from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. She lived in New Orleans for some time until she moved to California about two years ago.
New Orleans has more about voodoo because of the Creole heritage and cemeteries because of all the above ground tombs.

Vampires??? Maybe found in Anne Rice's Lestat/Lasher novellas (dam good books, too I may add). But I think you are curious about the Voodoo culture in NOLA.
NOLA had a very strong sense of French and Cajun culture, followed by the pre/post-Civil War Creole social culture; hence the Voodoo culture was embraced.
The Hatian/Creole Voodoo culture is dying in NOLA--was going that way before Katrina; now, it's pretty much a memory. If any traces are to be found other than in library books, you might find some voodoo touristy shops along the outer perimeter fringes of Bourbon Street. Just be careful who you ask....and bring a friend along, just to be safe.

There is a voo-doo religion mixed with Christianity in New Orleans that is filled with ghostly and spiritual delights. You will see alters throughout the French Quarter, but also in other areas. However, vampires are only in our minds due to Anne Rice's wonderful novels about Lestat and Louis.

None at all. It is very much a European phenomenon imported to some parts of America by authors and film producers.
