My poor mum has been bed ridden for 3 years with m.s and peg fed for that period.She has no quality of life whatsoever.She can no longer talk and her sight is going.I had a dream last night that my dead Granny was standing by her bed sobbing her heart out.What on earth is going on please.

it's indeed pity to heard that...but what's the point of sobbing...
the most important things u need to do now is pray and take care of her whole-heartedly for her...
do some good deed and "transfer" the merit to her, think of that inside ure heart....I'm sure her suffers will get relief. I wish her well sincerely inside my heart.

I feel the greatest sympathy for anyone in your position.
The Bible teaches that all true believers in the word of God are 'not of this earth' and so this life is merely preparation for the next life. It is here that there shall be no tears, death or suffering. God doesn't let anyone die unless the purpose of that person's life is fufilled, however small or hideen that task may be. If she bears out this suffering with dignity just as Jesus upon the cross took the pain and the sins of the world, she will be rewarded richly.
As for the dream, it may be that your gran has returned as a promise to you that soon the suffering will end, and that she appeared in a dream means that soon your mum will awaken into the reaches of heaven, just as you awaken from your sleep. The sleep in this case and the sobbing of your gran represent what is happening now, and you awakening back to life is the representation of your mum returning to the eternal life that the sins of Adam and Eve destroyed.

God understands your sorrow and frustration,but if it is not the time for your mother to go, that is for a reason! Try to find out how you can make this situation better and not just ask that "God will let her die!" Yes, we can all be sad and feel down, but try now to use your energy to do something to brigthen up yourself and her! You can read to your mother, or have someone else do it. Don't think that she don't understand, because people in coma can often hear also. You can help her find herself by soft touching, hug her, comb her hair or you can hold her hand and sing or talk. Keep the room she is in with fresh air and good light. Help her to see difference from day to night. Bring some light into the situation. I have seen people come back from deadly cancer and coma. And even if someone would pass away soon, it is still worth having hope. Love always communicate.
I will pray for her and you.

God is not responsible for this. It is the other Gosd who gives dsiease and suffering. The God of this world, aka the devil.
God is not keeping your mum here. Sorry to say but she is. This may sound harsh (and i mean no offence by it), but it is your mum that is keeping herself here. She is unwilling to give up her life so easily. Who can blame her? No one should be just willing to die.
Love her heart, she is still fighting. She is still hanging on to life and fighting the disease. Good for her.
I know it is hard to take. My mother suffered for almost a year with terminal cancer. She also almost faded out from the world. Her quality of life was nonexistant and I knew we were going to lose her. I love her and even now it still pains me to think of her that way. She waited until my brother came over to see her. He had a lot of trouble trying to accept what was happening and retreated from it. Eventually he came to terms with it and came to see her. It was what she was waiting for.
She died a short time after that.
I don't know what your mother is waiting for, or even if that is why she is hanging on. I just know that it is her choice to do so and not God stopping her.
I also know that it was not God who inflicted this disease on her.
Your dream was a reflection of the suffering you are experiencing. The granny you mentioned is an extension of yourself. It is how you feel inside. This whole thing is hurting you deeply.
If I could I would give my right arm to spare you and your mother from all this. It is never a blessing. Remeber though that no matter if she cannot talk or see, she can stillhear and think. Her body may be failing but her mind is not.
That is why she is still fighting. She has not succumbed in her mind to all this. She lives on with a strong mind. She has obviously not given in to despair.
I was going to suggest prayer but what to pray for? I will pray for peace for you and your mother. That whatever happens you are both at peace.
That is the best I can do for you both.

Oh boy, the superstitious are out in force today. If your mum can communicate, perhaps she should make the choice. Don't forget that there's always Dignitas in Switzerland.
The choice of whether to live or die is in the hands of the sufferer only. Noone else can really make that choice.
Forget the mythical superhero in the sky - if he/she/it existed, they'd have to be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
If your mother can't communicate at all, the only option is to ask the doctors for maximum pain relief, even if it may shorten her life, if life it can be called. Unwanted Existence might be a better term.
I do love the suggestion that she might still be here for your good not hers. The suggestion is that to improve your character, a god might see fit to impose extreme agony on somebody in the "possibility" that it might benefit someone else. Didn't the nazis do something like that?

MS is one of those tragic diseases that just keeps hanging on. It's cruel and unfair.
An modern medicine can keep people alive, through the PEG feeding etc.
I have worked as a palliative care nurse for a long time, the saddest part is when a person wants to die, but modern medicine wont allow it. Speak to your mum's specialists, talk to them about what can be done to end your mum's cruel excistance.

A difficult question attracts difficult (maybe hard to swallow) answers...
No one really knows why anything happens. It is all God's will. This is just one of the many situations that are difficult to understand. If you look to the scriptures, you'll see that sometimes things happen so that God may be glorified through it. How? Well... the care takers, support in your circle of friends and family, the prayers for everyone involved, even the simple cry of the heart to God (acknowledgement that you still put your trust in Him), etc.
I'm sorry that you are going through this and hope that someone here can give you some kind of comfort in an answer.

well if she is still alive i believe she still has an important duty in her life and she has to fullfill it. since she has been sick for 3 yrs i think there is something which can be done to make her life better. she needs to do prana which is a form of breathing exercises from a hindu scriptures. u dont have to be a hindu to do these and they are quite easy to do, and can be done just sitting on the floor or chair and if need in bed. i can give u a detail description of it and it can be done for about 30 mins a day pref in the morning. it has proven results so if u want to know more contact me.
just remember she has nothing to lose, except for she may lose her illness and get better

romans 6:7,23 show that when we die our sins are paid for. that way all who die can await a resurrection (john 5:28,29).
as for asking why God won't let her die, james 1:12,13 says God does not try anyone with any evil. only satan tests us, and it was his lie in the garden of eden which brough sin and death into the world. he challenged God's right to rule, and the best way for God to prove He was the only one who could rule, is to let satan try and rule. that is what he is doing. ruling this earth by means of his influence over the earthly governments.
as long as satan is in power, sickness and death will never go away. however, satan's time is nearly ended. soon he will have failed completely in his task, and he will be removed. then the earth can return to its original form, a paradise. and the people who live on it will be as adam and eve would have if they hadn't sinned, perfect with everlasting life.(psalm 37:11, revelation 21:4)
in the mean time, your poor mother will suffer all the pain which is associated with this life we have under satan's rule

well there are new medicines in development that repair 60% of the damage ! and some human groth cell techs that need expreimentation ... she could be realy determined to live ever asked her to type it ?
Cybernetix expezriments are a long way in and some hard reality only the worst cases where actual harm is worth the risk will get experimental help
if you realy need it write to the department of medicin stating the case and what types of experiments you will participate in
