The above answers aren't swearing at you. MOFO is short for "motherf**ker." In context, MOFO often means someone who is willing to commit and is highly skilled at acts of violence. (E.g., the movie characters portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson are sometimes refered as "bad MOFOs")
