When i did my electrical engineering degree in the late 1980's the only difference between a computer enginneering degree and an electrical enginneering degree was a few elective subjects.Mostly languages which i thought i could tweeach myself if required.
As to which one is better? In my area Brisbane there is more work for an electrical engineer but there is no shortage for computer engineers.
I think electrical is more interesting but each to there own i guess.
Just think what you want to do with your degree and make your choice from there

actually according to me electronics and comm is better
reson being that later , at the time of post graduation you have more options
one can also do m tech in comp science after doing b.e. in electronics and comm
while the people of comp science cant do electronics and comm engg

but the last choice is yours
your interest?????
if you really like computers go for computer engg
+ there are more jobs for people having good knowledge of computer which comp engg usually do have as compared to electronics and comm engg, atleast in india
