I work with a girl who is very pretty and seems really nice. I have talked to her a few times but I haven't really had any long conversations with her or anything. I really like her and I'd like to get to know her more, like take her out. How should I go about it and how do I know if she would be interested? Also, how do I know if she just wants to be friends or be more than that?

go slow.. donot rush into anything.. try to be friends first. talk to her.. donot ask her out directly she might make some excuse.... try to know her a bit more and important , let her know about you also... you can call her at times.. but donot act desperate .. . about knowing whether she wants to be more than friends or not.. well only time can tell, she won't be able to decide until n unless she she knows you right??? all the best...

You can try to find opportunity to knock off at the same time as her, then either walk her out of the office and have small chats along the way. If she is talking to you and the conversation is smooth, ask her if she has plans for dinner that evening. If she's not occupied and willing to go for dinner with you, then you are on the way to success. Try to talk to her during dinner, ask her about what she enjoys doing in weekends, whether she is into any particular sports and stuff. Also tell her about yourself as and when it's suitable. Try doing this dinner-thingy a few times, and if she's usually keen in going for dinner with you, likely she is interested and you can prepare to ask her to be your girlfriend..

Buy her a very simple gift (a welfare card or a pen), then see how she responds to it, if positive. Tell her you want to be her friend and that you want you guys to be very close, definitely she would not tell you she does not want to be ur friend since she collected the gift. After that tell her there is this new joint in town that u would like the both of you to go to, that she would love the place, if she agrees and come with you, get a drink for both of you and tell her what you really feel for her. (Please note that whenever you are talking or doing anything with her always look into her eyes.)

Just ask her if she wants to go out for a drink with you after work and see how it goes..or go out with a group from work and sit next to her..you will soon know if she is interested.

Grow sum balls and ask her! Oh, and if she wants to be friends stop pursuing her immediately. I have a guy who I made it clear to that i just want to be friends and he insists on acting like my boyfriend. The only thing he succeeds in doing though, is irritating the living hell out of me.
