I do 300 dips a day since last 3-4 months. Yet not a single vein has popped up on my forearm.:(

I don't think dips are going to do it. Dips hit your triceps and chest (depending upon your angle).

My forearm veins have gone nuts of late... I think it has a lot to do with your current body fat level and a level of how fit you are.

I do a huge amount of running and I think that has caused my forearms to get "defined". I also, about once or twice a week, do some forearm training -- either wrist curls or reverse curls. I also know that my arms get extremely freaky when I do biceps work, particularly bicep curls while reclining on an incline bench.

Although if I had to suggest something to get veiny / more defined forearms I would tell you to drop the body fat and do more cardio. It seems to have worked for me.

FIY dips involve the pecs(mostly the pectoralis magor) ,the triceps and the anterior deltoid. To work forearms do wrist curls, reverse grip arm curls and grip exercises.
