No, sounds impossible to me unless you mean afterlife as in reincarnation. I don't believe in reincarnation, but it is the only form of "afterlife" I can expect to make sense. Heaven and hell sound too impossible.

If heaven is like a retreat for Christians, I wouldn't like it. I don't want to live my life worshipping some god. I don't think some god would even want me to worship it either. A heaven where my loved ones could be in hell sounds rather dumb. Being happy without sadness is impossible to me because happiness depends on knowing sadness. I guess you could reach like some drug high all your life, but it would eventually become normal. I just feel heaven would have to be all my way for it to be heaven, and that is impossible because then each human that has ever existed would have to have their own heaven and those they love would be slaves to his heaven or just an imagination.

Hell sounds even more dumb, especially in the Christian way. What god would send you to burn for eternity for not worshipping or supposedly not doing good? Why not just make you into a good person? Every single bit of psychological evidence points to the fact that some people are powerless in their actions even if they appear to be, this even includes murderers who might have brain damage and kill because of it.

Yes, Christ demonstrated there is life after death. Lazarus was resurrected back to being a living human being, whereas Christ was resurrected to a spiritual being. The same took place at the time of the fulfillment of the signs of the last days. Those born again are resurrected to spiritual beings, for serving in heaven. After Armageddon, everyone else takes part in the second resurrection of Revelations. They will either be resurrected to judgment, or to everlasting life on earth. Those to Judgment will be informed of the ruling as regards them, than they cease to exist. This may be similar to when the resurrected Christ went to the fallen angels to declare the God's judgment on them. In their time frame reference, that has only been two days ago. They know that at the time of Armageddon, they will be chained and imprisoned for 1 day, or 1000 human years, at which time they will be again release to test humanity. After that, they will cease to exist, along with any humans who choose to follow them. Not die, but cease to exist. There will not even be a memory of them.

I was out last weekend with my brother and the following morning he woke up as if he were Lazarus arising from the dead. Therefore, I conclude there must be an afterlife because he definately went there last week.

I do believe in life after death. In fact the truth is the cycle of birth & death is infinite and endless. Rebirth has been directly supported in the eastern religions i.e. Hinduism,Jainism,Buddhism,Sikhism & indirectly supported in the Jerusalem-originated religions i.e. Christanity, Islam, Judaism. I am already doing spiritual practices for preparing for my after-life.

You only spend, tops, 100 years on earth. Do you really thinks someone would create you for only 100 or less years of existance? You just pass to the other side.
