Have you been thinking about your divorce a lot? If not, I would say it is working.

Its a healthy way to take your mind off things. You probably get a feeling of self satisfaction after you finish a job which will build your ego and confidence back up again....and think of all those improvements in the house that you can show off to new prospective girlfriends!! I say good on you - keep doing what you are doing, but dont forget to have a few nights out so you are meeting new people..

I don't think this is a good way to take your mind off things. Indulgence in DIY will not benefit your emotional issues from your divorce. If you have a religion, turn to it. If not, try to go to a church.

D.I.Y. is never as good a job as getting someone to do it for you.

One has to wonder if its working but re-focusing on something else is a great way to take your mind off things..DIY is especially therapeutic as you have a physical result from what you have done. For those that asked..D - Do I -It Y -Yourself..refers to maintaining the house..odd jobs etc...

Yes!!! DIY is a great way to get you mind off things and save money, as long as you don't try to put in a garbage disposal or something piece by piece.

Too funny!!!

I too, enjoy D.I.Y.....sometimes I just tackle the task alone, other times, I like to pretend like I have a "friend" helping....
(That's the sequel)... D.I.T.

I think I'd like to D.I. (with you) !!
