so i just got a new tv (enhanced definition). my uncle got one too in his room (high definition). we both use/share the same tv cable box (meaning that our cables both plug into the same box). when i plug in and turn on my tv, my uncle's tv would get worse that his picture would become less clear (e.g. some "snowing"). what happened? he's blaming me that my TV has made his TV worse. is that really my fault? how can i fix it? thanks.

Its not the TV that may be the problem, but that you are running 2 tvs off one signal. Check the stores for a cable splitter with a booster, it'll need to be plugged in to an outlet to boost the signal to both tvs. It was always a problem, but now that you got to high end sets you can see it.

Go to Radio Shack and ask for the inexpensive (cheap) RF/FM filter for TV sets. They're a snap to put on and this should solve the problem with "snow" from other television sets.
